Izy B 4 Months

Isabelle is officially 4 months old and currently weighing in at 13lbs 8 oz. She is 24 5/8in. long.

This month Isabelle learned the following:
1. She rolls from her back to her belly and her belly to her back.
2. She grabs EVERYTHING and tries to put it in her mouth. In fact, today when I was changing her she tried to eat the lotion bottle on the counter. She has probably learned more, but these are the big ones.

I am so excited to see more of her personality coming out everyday. I would not be surprised if she is a child that loves to be on the go and active. She loves to move, squirm and grab. In the morning I go in to get her and she has a big smile on her face, which just melts my heart.

Jogging

Caption: A Jog...You've got to be kidding me. I am only 3 1/2 months. I can't jog.

Here are some pictures from yesterday. I thought that since I was in the blogging mood, I better post them eventhough it is not time for an April Update. We were getting ready to go on a jog so she is in her jogging outfit.

What a funny girl she is!

Don't forget to check out the pictures below.

March Update

Here again, late as usual, doing the typing "walk of shame". I do have the best of intentions to update the blog, but I don't have the time. Isabelle and I have been swimming nearly every other week and meeting with other mom's and babies.

In the last couple months, Isabelle has been mastering the skill of babble. She talks and it is the sweetest thing. She has also started to giggle out loud. She only giggles with Daddy. They have a very special bond and you can already tell she will be her daddy's little girl. Isabelle has also started grabbing things and holding on to them while she puts them in her mouth. Everything is fair game for her mouth. I just love being a mother and I am so thankful that God has given me a husband who works hard providing for the family so that I can spend most of my time during the day bonding with Isabelle.

I recently got a jogger for my birthday and that has been our new adventure. I've got to tell you, going 1 year without running and then starting up after changing altitude and having a baby has been painful. I never realized how much you use your abs. I knew it mentally, but now I can physically feel how much you use them.

Well duty calls or should I say Isabelle!
